Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston

Creating items for the ICA was by far the biggest challenge of my museum career. The museum's focus was on living artists, who rightfully have opinions on how their work is reproduced. Close collaborations with the artists were paramount. These interactions are where I developed a reverence for the artistic process, more profound respect for the works, and how to translate them into offerings in the shop without sacrificing the artist's integrity.

I don't aim for perfection. But I do want to try and come up with something interesting.
